In Orange County, there are a variety of classes and workshops available for people with memory loss problems, families, caregivers, and the community.

All classes are offered free of charge. According to a review of California's nonprofit caregiver resource centers, 35% of caregivers reported that their health had worsened while providing care and 20% had symptoms of depression. Saddleback College FKCE program provides quality education and support opportunities for caregivers of children receiving care outside the home. Additionally, Families and Communities Together (FAcT) is a network of 16 family resource centers located throughout Orange County that provides essential family support, education, and resource services.

The state will need more caregivers, such as Luz Maria Muñoz, who has worked in the home care program for six years. Prospective parents with resources must complete the training classes prescribed to them before receiving approval from the Orange County Social Services Agency (SSA). The participants, 13 caregivers from all over California, who had gathered in a Zoom room, said they were experiencing nausea, anxiety, shortness of breath, an elevated heart rate, and other telltale signs of stress. The goal is to make Orange County a safe, healthy, and satisfying place to live, work and play, today and for generations to come by providing outstanding and cost-effective regional public services.
